Post-punk band Cola (made up of ex-Ought and US Girls members) have released their new single 'Degree' in the lead up to their debut album Deep In View out on Firetalk Records on 20th May. The track comes with a glitchy animated video of swirling colours and shapes directed by Rapapawn that serves as a suitable visualiser for it's tight driving rhythms, intricate guitar work and surreal lyrics, singer Darcy describes the hypnotic track as "what it feels like running to catch the bus when you're in a daze and suddenly have to sprint." After a string of impressive recent singles (check out 'Water Table') the new album is shaping up to be an impressive collaboration and a fresh outlet for the musicians. -Toby Evans-Jesra
